Canton First Methodist believes wholeheartedly that our children are not only the church of tomorrow: they are the church today! This belief compels us to partner with families to develop the same traits in our children that we desire for every member of our church family.
Our desire for every person is that they would:
SEEK God with all their heart (Jeremiah 29:13)
SERVE unselfishly (Galatians 5:13)
SHARE Christ with others (1 Peter 3:15)
Be SHEPHERDED and SHEPHERD others in the faith (Hebrews 10:24-25)
At Canton First Methodist our Middle & High school students LEaD. Through the lens of our church community's mission to Share Life • Share Christ • For Others, we are called to be LOVING EXAMPLES and DISCIPLES. Jesus set the example for us all on how to love God and others, be examples of his light, and make disciples for the Kingdom.
Our students are LEaDers - "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity."
