Be the Church Serve Sunday
Join us for Be the Church Serve Sunday as we put our faith into action!
We will begin with ONE brief worship service at 9:30am, then head out in serve teams to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our community. There will be projects for all ages and abilities — everyone can make a difference!
Nursery will be available from 8:00am–1:00pm for children ages 0–4 (a parent/guardian must remain onsite to serve).
Children ages 5 and up will serve alongside their families.
*Please note: No regular kids programming will be held that day.

Onsite Serve Opportunities

Sorting Food for MUST | 10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will bag and sort food for MUST Ministries. -
Card Writing | 10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will write cards of encouragement to homebound church members.
Offsite Serve Opportunities
All team members please plan to meet at the church for a brief worship service at 9:30am before dispersing as a team to your serve site.
- Prayer Walking |10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will pray while walking around the campuses of various schools and businesses. No previous experience required. - Pressure Washing & Painting |10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will complete various pressure washing and painting projects for the Angel House. - Organizing a Food Pantry |10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will organize the food pantry at MUST Ministries Cherokee. - School Painting & Campus Beautification|10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will be repainting the outdoor bus lane numbers, planting flowers, and other beautification projects at RM Moore Elementary School. - Hanging Dry Wall |10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will support Mt Gilead Methodist Church, which Canton First has a missional partnership with, by hanging dry wall in their building. - Branch Pruning & Shearing |10:00am-1:00pm
This Serve Team will be pruning and shearing branches at Restoration Farms.
Registration is open through October 14.
*Please plan to wear comfortable clothing and shoes to serve in, and bring a sack lunch and a water bottle.
