Confirmation Class 2026
Confirmation is a spiritual journey for a student in Grade 6-12, where he/she will learn more about what we believe as Methodists, including Worship, Grace, the Sacraments, and more.
Together, we'll journey through Profoundly Christian Distinctly Methodist: A Study of the Catechism of the Global Methodist Church. Through this Confirmation Curriculum, students will learn the beliefs of what it means to be a Christian in the Global Methodist tradition.
At the end of the process, the student will choose to profess his/her faith in Christ and become a member of Canton First Methodist by taking confirmation vows in front of the congregation and proclaiming to follow Christ and the example He has set for us.
Confirmation Class will take place over the course of 12 weeks.

There will not be a class on following dates.
- February 15 (Winter Break)
- March 22 (Confirmation Retreat)
- April 5 (Easter Sunday & Spring Break)
Students will participate with other churches in the North Georgia Conference of the Global Methodist Church Conference-wide Confirmation Retreat the weekend of March 20-22.
Confirmation Sunday is on April 26, 2026.
Registration is open through January 4, 2026.
*Confirmation Parent & Student Orientation will take place on Sunday, January 11 at 12:30pm in the Student Space.
